Our History: Since 2000, our subscribers have been receiving the best available cultural/literary e-information. Zopilote News was founded as a by-publication of the now defunct Zopilote Magazine.

Zopilote Magazine: Was founded in 1993 and was published until 2000. Zopilote Magazine featured multiple perspectives of art, literature, book reviews, culture and history. It gave emerging Chicano, Latin-American and Indigenous literary writers, artists, poets, and photographers an expressive voice. How to become a subscriber member: Subscription is FREE to the public, just send us your name, e-mail, and contact information. As a member, you will receive the best Latino/Indigenous cultural/literary information directly on your home computer, laptop or electronic device. * Press releases and related information will be sent to you at various intervals. * You will always have the choice to unsubscribe or tell others to subscribe.

How to list or advertise: We can list or advertise your art exhibit, event, festival, recognition, conference, poetry reading, community event, movie, CD release, book, magazine or any related Latino/Indigenous cultural events.

Requirements to list: A charge will be assessed on all listings. We need at least two weeks notice on all listings. All listings should have a title, when, where, short (up to a maximum of 100 words) description, and contact information. Any additional information will be edited according to rules prescribed above or charged accordingly. One event constitutes one listing. There is a limit of three (3) listings per month.
