El Quinto Sol, was created in 1993. Initially developed as an arts-related business, El Quinto Sol has evolved its focus into fostering better understanding and improved working relationships between Ethnic communities and businesses, educational institutions, government agencies and other entities.
El Quinto Sol, according to the ancient Aztec calendar, signifies the fifth sun which represent the start, the center and the balance of the universe. It is symbolic of the strength of Ollin, meaning movement and change. It exemplifies the search for unity, restoration and purification of the personal and environmental balance of the Earth.
El Quinto Sol is dedicated to the promotion of cultural and environmental diversity, in relation to the positive development of Ethnic communities.
Through presentations of workshops, seminars and art events, we hope to inspire a respectful understanding of the vital need to address and promote environmental and cultural issues. Our goal is to share the expertise of professionals, as well as the knowledge and wisdom of Ethnic peoples worldwide, in creating a healthy community,
